Composition Or Preparation Method

Method: Take 4 tolas (about 46.6 grams) of purified mercury, 4 tolas (46.6 grams) of sulfur, and 2 tolas (23.3 grams) of copper ash. First, combine the mercury and sulfur to make a black powder. Then, add the copper ash and prepare a paste to make tablets following the proper method. (Reference: R. Y. S.)

Once the Copper Tablets are ready, soak them in each of the following juices in succession: juice of bhangra roots and leaves, trikatu decoction, triphala decoction, juice of indrayava, drumstick root decoction, bay leaf decoction, kantakari juice, beech tree decoction, and sandalwood decoction. Apply each of these 7 times as directed. When prepared with care, this formula provides quick relief.

Dosage

Take 1 to 2 ratti (approximately 125 to 250 mg), three times a day.

Complementary Intake: For digestive issues, provide 4 ratti (500 mg) of roasted cumin, 1 ratti (125 mg) of purified cannabis, and 2 ratti (250 mg) of small cardamom powder with buttermilk. For diabetes, administer with nutmeg powder and honey. For high fevers, give with ginger juice. For abdominal pain, give with castor oil. For skin disorders, use with kheir (Acacia catechu) decoction. For respiratory diseases, give with nagkesar powder, butter, and sugar.

Usage

Usage: This tablet is beneficial in treating conditions like digestive disorders, spleen enlargement, liver enlargement, Vata-Kapha fevers, severe fever, kidney pain (including dysuria), gout, skin diseases, bile imbalance, vomiting, loss of appetite, diarrhea, and anemia.

In this copper-based tablet, copper ash is the main ingredient. Copper specifically impacts conditions related to tuberculosis, spleen, and kidneys. It is especially useful in treating diseases that arise from issues with these organs. Additionally, copper tablets are beneficial in managing diarrhea, irritable bowel syndrome, and similar conditions caused by disrupted excretion processes. The benefits of copper have been previously described under Copper Ash.

In some cases, chronic tuberculosis can lead to painful diarrhea; in such times, the copper tablet can help relieve both tuberculosis symptoms and diarrhea.
